How to Buy NFTs in App.Axie

This article provides a comprehensive guide to purchasing NFTs in the Axie Infinity Marketplace for those seeking to engage in the world of Lunacia. 

 

To start exploring the App.Axie marketplace, and be able to purchase your first Axie NFTs, you will need your own wallet first. I you don't have one yet, you can set up your wallet by:

Once you have your wallet, log in to App.Axie with either via your chosen wallet or via Waypoint.

 

NFT Collections

There are several types of NFTs available on App.Axie that you can use in various Axie experiences. These include:

  • Axies - Axies are adorable creatures that are at the very core of the Axie Infinity ecosystem. You may learn more about axies on our Axies article. There are also special kinds of axies, which have special parts and are limited in number. You can learn more about these in our Collectible Axies article.
  • Land Plots and Land Items - Land plots are digital pieces of land that are used in land development-type experiences, such as Homeland and Raylights, while land items are used to decorate your land plot. You may learn more about these in our Homeland Overview article.
  • Accessories - Accessories are cosmetic items you can equip to your axies, ranging from tiny pets to silly items. You can learn more about accessories and how to use them on our Accessories guide.
  • Runes and Charms - Runes and charms are equipment used in Origins that enhances your axie’s battling capabilities. You can learn more about them on our Runes and Charms guides.
  • Materials and Consumables - Materials and consumables are items used to enhance your axies, such as increasing their level or evolving their parts. How to Purchase NFTs

NOTE: To be able to purchase, you’ll need to have funds in your wallet. You may check our How to Deposit guide to learn how to add funds to your wallet.

 

Purchase via Keyless Address

We have two ways to use a Keyless wallet in App.Axie.

Log in with Waypoint

With the Ronin Waypoint integration, you will be easily able to utilize your keyless wallet to easily purchase. Do transactions directly with just a Waypoint login, not needing a browser extension or a Ronin mobile wallet to sign transactions.

In case you have 1 keyless wallet & 1 seed phrase wallet in the same Waypoint account:
You first need to switch to Keyless under the profile's connected address.

Log in with Extension > Ronin Wallet

To be able to use your Keyless address using the Ronin wallet extension, you need to import it first via the social login option. Go to Settings > Manage Wallet > Import Existing Wallet > Social Login. Then input your email and recovery password to complete.

 

Purchase via Seed Phrase Address

To make transactions on App.Axie using your key-based address via Ronin Wallet or other web3 wallets, you first need to switch to Seed Phrase under the profile's connected address.

 

Step 1: Sign In and Connect your Wallet to App.Axie

To make sure that you are able to do your transactions successfully, you will need to connect your wallet to app.axie. This connection enables you to make purchases and manage your NFT assets securely.

You’ll be prompted to connect your wallet the first time you log in or attempt to make a transaction with your wallet. This will prompt you to connect all addresses in your wallet, but you may opt to connect only the address you will be using to make the transactions.

 

Step 2: Select the NFT Collection

Select the appropriate NFT marketplace for the category with which you wish to purchase.

You can also hover over the Marketplace icon on App.Axie to quickly switch between the NFT collections.

 

Step 3: Browse and Select the Desired NFT

You can browse through the available NFT collections within your chosen collection.

You may use filters within each collection if you’re looking for something specific, such as if you are looking for specific parts on an axie, or a specific type of land plot.

 

Step 4: Complete the Purchase 

When you've found the NFTs you wish to acquire, proceed to complete the purchase process by clicking the Buy Now button.

Select the token you would like to use for the purchase, then click Buy Now again and confirm the transaction on your wallet.

Once the purchase is finalized, the acquired NFTs will be accessible and manageable in the App.Axie Inventory as well as directly in your wallet through the NFT tab.

 

Bulk Purchase

Axie Sweep Mode

If you want to buy multiple floor axies at once, the marketplace has a sweep mode that lets you make multiple purchases at once.

Step 1: Enable the Sweep mode option on the top of the page.

Step 2: Select how many axies you would like to purchase, then click the Buy X axies button.

NOTE: Sweep mode purchases axies starting from the cheapest listed on the marketplace. You cannot choose to skip or filter axies with this feature.

Step 3: Select the token that you would like to use for the purchase, then click Buy X axies now and confirm the transaction with your wallet to complete the purchase.

 

Bulk Purchasing ERC-1155 Tokens

The marketplace also allows you to bulk purchase ERC-1155 tokens, such as Materials and Consumables. You will be able to select how many you want to purchase, and the marketplace will automatically purchase from multiple sellers’ available listings starting from the lowest price.

Step 1: On the token’s page, click the general Buy Now button at the top of the page.

Step 2: Enter the quantity you would like to purchase and the token you would like to use. The page will then show you the floor price, the average price for your purchase [along with the difference between the floor price and the average price], as well as the total price for the purchase.

Click Buy X Now and confirm the transaction with your wallet to complete the purchase.
