This article breaks down how leaderboard systems work across Axie games — Classic, Origins, and Homeland — so you can focus on what matters: climbing the ranks and earning rewards!
Axie Origins
Ranked Arena Leaderboard
At the start of each season, all players who participate in Ranked battles are automatically included on the leaderboard. Player rankings are determined by the total number of Victory Stars earned through these Ranked battles. The higher the ranking, the better the rewards.
You could earn AXS, cosmetics, and crafting materials for gaining a position in the ladder.
Tie-Breaker System
In cases where two or more players have the same number of Victory Stars at the end of each era, the following tie-breakers are applied to ensure fairness:
- Win Rate: The player with the higher overall win rate is ranked higher.
- Time to Achieve Stars: If win rates are also identical, the system checks who reached their current Victory Star total first.
This ensures that rewards are not duplicated and that competitive integrity is maintained throughout the season.
Axie Classic
Arena Leaderboard > Seasonal Championship & Guild Leaderboard
The Axie Classic leaderboard operates on two tracks: individual competition and guild performance. At the individual level, players compete in Ranked Arena Battles throughout the season where the top 16 performers earn their place in the Season Championship. You can check the Classic Arena Leaderboard in the Classic Website.
Season Championship
The Season Championship showcases the top 16 Arena players, who face off for:
- A share of a AXS prize pool
- The prestigious title of Season Champion
Over the course of the year, a dedicated amount of AXS is allocated to Classic’s competitive events, providing players with meaningful incentives and prestige.
Tie-Breaker System (Arena Leaderboard for Season Championship qualifiers)
If two or more players have the same Ranking Points (MMR) at the end of the Classic Arena season, it follows a "First Come, First Served" basis where the first player to touchdown on that MMR will be considered higher on the ladder.
Guild Leaderboards and Rewards
For Guilds, the competition runs in parallel. Guilds earn Guild Points (GP) based on member contributions. At the end of each season, the Top 20 guilds are rewarded from an allocated AXS prize pool.
Reward Allocation
- from a 10k pool as of the time of writing
- 1st Place: 2,000 AXS
- 2nd Place: 1,350 AXS
- 3rd Place: 800 AXS
- 4th Place: 600 AXS
- 5th Place: 500 AXS
- 6th–10th: 400 AXS
- 11th–15th: 300 AXS
- 16th–20th: 250 AXS
Gaining top 10 in the Guild Leaderboard also qualifies the guild for Guild Wars. You can check the guild leaderboard on this site: https://guildwar.axiedao.org/
Thirty percent (30%) of the guild’s total reward is deposited into the Guild Treasury, controlled by the guild leader. The remaining seventy percent (70%) is distributed among contributors based on their GP share.
Tie-Breaker System (Guild Leaderboard)
In the Guild Leaderboards, the system also uses the “First Come, First Served” rule for guilds sharing the top ranks with the same total Guild Points.
Axie Homeland
Axie Adventure Leaderboard
Competitive Homeland gameplay circles around a PvE mode known as Axie Adventure, where players send their axies into auto-battle adventure and compete in weekly leaderboard. This mode brings progression systems like Combat Quality, Power Rate, and Plot Advancement, which all feed into the weekly leaderboard system.
How the Leaderboard Works
The Axie Adventure Weekly Leaderboard tracks your PvE success where you gain points for sending your axies and providing them with the necessary equipment. Rankings are determined by the number of floors completed by your adventure teams.
This leaderboard is plot-based, meaning progress is tied to a specific land plot, not the player’s account. This creates deeper strategy around plot management and team deployment.
Rewards & AXP
- Top 200 players receive Ancient Coins, which can be used in Homeland’s economy.
- Players outside the Top 200 still receive Gold, gear, and consumables to help improve their performance in future weeks.
Tie-Breaker System
In Homeland, the leaderboard system uses the “First Come, First Served” rule for players sharing the top ranks with the same points.
