Axie Juggling

Axie Juggling is a special term for sharing one or multiple axies with one or multiple players. Therefore, there is a special rule in place that prevents players from using axies to easily gain better positions in the leaderboard. Axie Juggling rule applies to Axie Origins, specifically to the Ranked Mode and to each era separately. As a result, it is forbidden to play with an axie under certain conditions after it has been moved out to a different wallet. This rule was firstly introduced in our Discord server in this post.

Origins Era Rules for Axie Juggling

When can a user no longer play with a specific axie?

1. User A played with an axie in Ranked Mode of one era.
2. User A moved out (via transfer/sale/offer) the axie to another account User B.
3. User B played with the axie in Ranked Mode of the same era.
4. User B returned (via transfer/sale/offer) the axie back to User A's game account.
5. User A should not play with the axie until the era ends.

What areas are affected?

• Breeding
• Trading

Ranked Mode

A violation of this rule will occur if all of these conditions are met in the specified order:

1. User A played with an axie in Ranked Mode of one era.
2. User A moved out (via transfer/sale/offer) the axie to another account User B.
3. User B played with the axie in Ranked Mode of the same era.
4. User B returned (via transfer/sale/offer) the axie back to User A's game account.
5. User A played again with the axie in Ranked Mode of the same era.

This sequence escalates to the AXS removal or even temporary ban.

In the mentioned sequence (see above), the user who played with an axie in two or more separate intervals (before and after the axie was moved out) would be penalized. It doesn't matter the number of axies and players to whom the axies were sent to. One axie shared with one player is enough.

This rule also applies to Missions and Quests that are related to the Ranked Mode.

This rule cannot be bypassed by buying the axie from the marketplace you previously sold within the same era.

You should only play again with that specific axie in the new era if you want to avoid trouble.

The examples (see below) show two players playing Ranked Mode and one shared axie between them.

First example:

• Player Bob will be punished in this case.
• Player Alice did nothing wrong in this case (Unless she violated the 72-hr rule)

Second example:

• Player Bob will be punished in this case.
• Player Alice will be punished in this case.

If these data are found by our investigation process at the end of the season, you will lose your AXS rewards regardless of the circumstances.

72-Hour Rule for Axie Juggling

All axies used in the Arena Mode during the last 3 days (72 hours) of an era must remain in the user’s account until the end of that era or the user will not be eligible for that era’s rewards.

Here are a few examples of what how the 72 hour rule works👇

Juggling by Gifting

Player A uses axie #123456 in the Origins Arena 70 hours before the era ends. Then, Player A lends that axie to Player B. In this case, Player A is no longer eligible for rewards.

Juggling by Selling

Player A uses axie #123456 in the Origins Arena 60 hours before the era ends and then sells it on App.Axie 48 hours before the era ends. As a result, Player A is no longer eligible for rewards.

Juggling by Offers

Player A uses axie #123456 in the Origins Arena 48 hours before the era ends and then accepts an offer on App.Axie from Player B on the last day of the era. Player A would no longer be eligible for rewards.

Notes on Other Game Modes / Features

Casual Mode

You can play with any axie you want regardless if the axie was shared.

Arcade Mode

You can play with any axie you want regardless if the axie was shared.

Challenge Mode

You can play with any axie you want regardless if the axie was shared.

Tournaments

There are no limitations for sharing axies regarding tournament purposes as long as you follow the rules for the Ranked Mode.

Breeding

There are no limitations for breeding axies as long as you follow the rules for the Ranked Mode.

Trading

There are no limitations for trading and moving axies between multiple Ronin addresses as long as you follow the rules for the Ranked Mode.
