The Season 9 of Axie Infinity: Origins is here! The season begins on the 12th of June, 2024.
It's a hot Origins summer, and we're excited to unveil the thrilling features coming to life in Lunacia. Here's the scoop on what's in store for Origins Season 9:
Leaderboard Rewards Distribution
Season 9 Leaderboard has been adjusted to reward the top 30k players on each era. We’ve allocated a total of 81,133 AXS to this season's Leaderboard Rewards.
If you place high enough on the leaderboard for each era, you will be able to earn mAXS rewards and other cosmetics!
At the end of each era, the top 30K players at a Boar rank or above will receive AXS according to the chart above.
Season 9 Eras
Season 9 has four Eras: Rare, Epic, and Mystic, and the Final Era. During each Era, players can craft specific runes and charms depending on their rarity level.
For instance, the Rare Era runs from day 0 to day 14, where players can only craft Common and Rare runes and charms while higher recipes are locked until the next Era. At the end of each Era, eligible winners will receive AXS leaderboard payouts according to the schedule provided. This incentivizes players to participate and put in effort throughout the entire season. The complete list of Season 8 Eras and their features can be found below.
The Rare Era
- Day 1 to day 14
-
Players can only use the Beginner/Basic crafting. No utility slots open.
-
Only common and rare runes and charms will be available for crafting.
The Epic Era
-
Day 14 to day 28
-
Intermediate Crafting unlocked. All utility slots open.
-
Only Common, Rare, and Epic runes and charms available for crafting and trading.
The Mystic Era
-
Day 28 to day 35
-
Master Crafting unlocked.
-
All runes and charms are available for crafting.
The Final Era
-
This Era will last for 2 weeks and feature a special Top 8 tournament!
-
The Final Era begins after the Mystic Era.
-
Top 8 players on the leaderboard will face off in a tournament to end the season!
Crafting and Scrap Shop Changes!
We’ve made some minor changes to crafting cost for Runes and Charms recipes. Check them out below:
Additionally, we’ve adjusted the following utility items’ costs in the Scrap Shop:
Players can then exchange Scrap for items like Sealed Choice Boxes and Utility Items for crafting. They can also receive Scrap while increasing their Crafting Level.
Collectible Chests are BACK!
Great news for owners of collectible Axies! The beloved Collectible Chests are back, offering 7000 AXS for grabs. Gain additional AXS rewards at the conclusion of each era, except for the Final Era. Consider your collectible Axie as a key to unlocking a treasure chest: the more rare the Axie, the greater the treasure you'll receive.
Important: Your collectible axie must be in your account
before the start of era and remain in your account till
the end of era to be eligible to receive Collectible Box
E.g. If you own a Mystic axie, you may get anywhere between 12.8 to 80 AXS
as long as you meet the Era’s criteria outlined in the photo above.
This is only an estimate and will still be contingent on the number of
Collector’s Tickets in circulation.
