This article covers the less common situations that come up when you transfer land plots, sell assets, or move a wallet between accounts.
Transferring and Selling Land Plots
Can I transfer or sell a plot that is active in Terrariums?
No. Activating a land plot locks the NFT, and the same applies to any axies assigned to it. Open the Registry, select the plot, and choose Deactivate before you transfer or list it. If axies are still on the plot, you will be prompted to Unregister & Deactivate.
Does my Local Lunium follow the land plot when I transfer it?
No. Local Lunium progress is tied to the wallet, not to the land NFT. When the plot arrives in another wallet, it starts from zero progress there.
If the plot later comes back to your wallet, your previous progress is still there.
Does my Global Lunium follow the land plot when I transfer it?
No. Global Lunium is bound to the wallet that purchased it and is shared across every plot in that wallet. Transferring a plot away does not move any of your Global balance with it, and the new owner runs the plot on their own Lunium.
Does my Atia Shrine buff follow the land plot when I transfer it?
No. Shrine buffs are tied to the wallet that bought them, not to the plot itself.
- Deactivating and reactivating a plot in the same wallet keeps the buff.
- Transferring the plot to another wallet and activating it there does not carry the buff over.
- Transferring the plot back to your wallet applies your remaining buff time again.
⚠️ The buff timer keeps running the whole time, including while the plot sits in another wallet. Time lost while the plot is away is not returned.
If you plan to sell a plot, use up your shrine buff first. The buff does not transfer to the buyer and it is not refunded.
What happens to my unclaimed bAXS if I transfer my plot?
Your unclaimed bAXS stays with the wallet that earned it. Transferring the plot does not move past earnings to the new owner.
Wallets and Account Access
Is my Lunium tied to my wallet or to my Sky Mavis account?
Lunium is an off-chain resource bound to your wallet, not to your Sky Mavis account. It is not tradable and exists only within Terrariums.
What happens to my Lunium if I unlink my wallet from my Sky Mavis account?
Your Lunium stays with the wallet that purchased it. You can still log in to Terrariums with that wallet and your balance will be there.
Claiming bAXS is the part that needs an account. To claim, link the wallet again to your original Sky Mavis account or to a new one.
What happens to my Fortune slips if I unlink my wallet?
Fortune slips are also off-chain and bound to your wallet. They will show up on App.axie again once you link the wallet to an account, either your original one or a new one.
