Your axies earn bAXS once every hour, as long as your Atia's Shrine is running. A "tick" is that hourly moment when the system checks your plot and pays out. Running the Shrine costs Lunium, the energy your plot spends at each tick. Lunium comes from two pools, and a Mode setting decides which pool pays.
The Two Pools
- Global Pool: a pool of Lunium you buy and spend.
- Local Pool: your plot's free pool. It refills slowly over time, up to a limit.
Modes
- Global Pool ON: the Global pool pays first, and your Local pool is the backup.
- Global Pool OFF: only your Local pool pays.
The Earning Rule
You earn bAXS for an hour only if the system can pay that hour's Lunium cost. There's one extra condition to keep going: To stay active into the next hour, you need enough Lunium for this tick and the next one. If you have enough for this tick only, you earn it, then your plot drops to recharging.
Switching Modes
A mode switch takes effect at the next tick, not the moment you press it. So set your mode before the hour resets, and it applies on that next tick. If you switch to Global before the reset and your Global pool has enough Lunium, you start earning with Global that same hour. You don't lose an hour, even if your plot was recharging.

Use this table when your plot is already earning. In the table, "more than 1 tick" means you have enough Lunium for this hour and the next. "Covers this tick only" means you have enough for now, but not for the next hour.

Use this table when your plot has stopped earning and is refilling Local Lunium. You do not earn while recharging. To start earning again on Local, your Local pool has to refill all the way to full. To start earning again on Global, just one tick of Lunium is enough.
