The Lunar New Year event started on Jan 20th and ended on Feb 20th. During the event, you could release Axies to Luna's Landing. In return, your Axie would send you a limited edition land item and tickets for the Legendary raffle! Details about the event can be found by following this link:

.How do I release an Axie?
There is now a "Release" button on Axie's marketplace pages where you normally find the options to Sell, Breed and Gift.
You will also be able to see a link to the event website. When you click on the button that says "Release an Axie", you will need to log in with your Ronin wallet. It will then open a pop-up window that lets you select an Axie to release.

Am I guaranteed a reward?
Yes. You are guaranteed to receive 1 of 5 different items if you release an Axie during the event. You also get one ticket into all three raffles with every release.

No. All Axies give the same chance of rare items in this event.

What are the items for? Will they provide a bonus effect when Land Gameplay is released?
The Lunar New Year items are cosmetic artifacts that players will be able to show off on their Land. They will not provide any bonuses to stats.

Is releasing an Axie reversible? Can I still play with it?
No. Once an Axie has been set free, there is no going back!

What is the Legendary Raffle?
There are three raffles during this event. For every Axie you release, you automatically receive three tickets: one for each of the raffles. It will last for the whole duration of the event and winners will be drafted after it ends.

Where can I see what I got? When do we get the items?
While you will be able to see which items you get immediately, the items themselves will be claimable in the marketplace after the event is over. Meanwhile, you can check which items you will be receiving on the event website by clicking the "View your LNY Items" button!

Is there a limit on the number of Axies I can release or the rewards I can get?
No.

Can I transfer my raffles tickets to another account?
No. The raffle tickets are tied to the Ronin Wallet that the Axies were released from, quite like SLP before it is claimed. You will however be able to transfer the items and coins once they have been awarded after the event.

What are the AOC tokens for?
AOC is short for "Axie Origin Coins". With 5 of these, you will be able to mint an Origin Axie. When Origin Axies are rolled, each of the 6 body parts has a 1/18 chance of having a mystic part. This means that each “Origin Axie” has ~33% chance of becoming a Mystic Axie. Axies can possess more than one Mystic part as well and these double, triple, and quad mystics are even rarer!
Due to the limited supply of coins, there will never be more than 4088 Origin Axies, and statistically, only about 1453 of them will ever be Mystic Axies.
