Mystic Axies

Mystic axies are Origin axies that carry at least one Mystic part. Mystic parts cannot be bred or inherited, so the only way one comes into existence is through the Origin creation process. That keeps the supply permanently limited, and the limit is enforced by the smart contract.

Origin axies are capped at 4,088 total supply. Some were created during the February 2018 presale. The rest come from Atia Original Crystals (AOC), the referral tokens handed out during that same presale, originally known as Axie Origin Coins.

Five AOC combine to roll one new Origin axie, and that Origin goes through the six part Mystic check.

Chances of getting a Mystic part from rolling AOC

Every Origin axie has six body parts: eyes, ears, mouth, horn, back, and tail. Each part gets its own independent roll, with a 7% chance to come out Mystic. An Origin can end up with no Mystic parts, one, or in much rarer cases several.

Across all six parts, that works out to about a ~35% chance that a newly rolled Origin has at least one Mystic part!

Rolling your AOC

AOC redemption is returning to App.axie. You will be able to combine five Atia Original Crystals to mint a new Origin axie from the 4,088 supply.

Keep in mind that rolling AOC does not guarantee a Mystic axie. You are minting an Origin, and each of its six parts has its own 7% chance to become Mystic.

If you do not hold any AOC, you can still buy a Mystic axie from other players on the App.Axie marketplace.

Mystic Spacesuit

Every Mystic axie enters the arena in style, adorned in a one-of-a-kind Mystic space suit, crafted specifically for them. In the near future, these suits will evolve into highly coveted, removable NFTs, adding another layer of value and uniqueness to your already exceptional axie.
