Understanding Axie Infinity’s Terms of Service for Origins

To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have established certain Terms of Service (ToS) that outline the guidelines and expectations for using our services. In this support article, we’ll break down one of the key provisions of our ToS to help you better understand it.

“You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make the Services available. You shall not (and shall not permit any third party) to: Use an Axie non-fungible token(s) or Item in any manner not then-currently permitted as communicated by Axie Infinity through official channels such as Discord, Twitter, Substack or other means of communication.”

This provision emphasizes the importance of using Axie Infinity services only for their intended purposes. Axie Infinity offers a unique gaming experience centered around the use of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and items within the Axie universe. As a player, it’s essential to respect the platform’s intended use and not engage in activities that could disrupt or undermine its integrity.

Currently, here are the rules communicated through official channels:

How to Stay Compliant

To ensure compliance with Axie Infinity’s ToS:

  • Familiarize yourself with the ToS and community guidelines.
  • Stay updated on official communications and announcements from Axie Infinity through official channels such as Discord, Twitter, Substack, in-game mail, or other means of communication.
  • Refrain from engaging in any activities that could potentially violate the ToS or disrupt the community.

Failure to adhere to this ToS may result in disciplinary actions, including but not limited to account/asset suspension, loss of privileges, or a permanent ban from the platform. Axie Infinity reserves the right to enforce these consequences to maintain a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for all users
