Stewards have access to a landlord's plot in Axie Infinity: Homeland. If a steward earns rewards from the game, the rewards will be credited to both landlord and steward's account. To play Homeland using a delegated plot, you'll need to be delegated with a land plot from an owner.

How to Apply for Stewardship
Step 1. Access the Land Delegation Marketplace: Start by visiting the Land Delegation Marketplace. This marketplace is where owners post their delegation listings.
Step 2. Browse Delegation Listings: Once in the Delegate Marketplace, browse through the available delegation listings. These listings represent land plots that owners are looking to delegate.
Checking delegations where whitelisting is applicable becomes more convenient by toggling "Show my whitelist contract."
Navigating the marketplace is facilitated through the use of the Filter button, simplifying the process of sorting through all delegation listings. Sorting options include daily potential rewards, the number of land plots (in a single listing, land type), restriction levels, and termination rules.
Step 3. Select a Listing: Choose the listing that aligns with your interests and preferences. Click on the listing to view more details.
Step 4. Review Contract Details: Carefully review the contract details provided by the owner. Ensure that the terms and expectations outlined in the contract align well with your role as a steward. In addition to considering land types and listing duration, it is important to examine Restriction Levels, Reward Percentage Splits, and Termination Rules. Explanations are provided below.
There are five restriction levels on the Delegation Contract. These restriction levels will be updated in a future feature. The following are the current activities forbidden at each restriction level:
Restriction Level 1
- Change the Plot's name.
Restriction Level 2
- Change the Plot's name.
- Change the Plot's property.
- Destroy Structures.
Restriction Level 3
- Change the Plot's name.
- Change the Plot's property.
- Destroy Structures.
- All activities related to Resource Transferring
- All activities related to Auction Trading.
NOTE: Level 3 and level 4 restrictions currently have the same permissions. This will be changed in the future.
Restriction Level 4
At this level, these activities are forbidden:
- Change the Plot's name.
- Change the Plot's property.
- Destroy Structures.
- All activities related to Resource Transferring
- All activities related to Auction Trading.
NOTE: Level 3 and level 4 restrictions currently have the same permissions. This will be changed in the future.
Restriction Level 5
At this level, these activities are forbidden:
- Change the Plot's name.
- Change the Plot's property.
- Destroy Structures.
- All activities related to Resource Transferring.
- All activities related to Auction Trading.
- Move/Build structures.
- Reconstruction Mode.
The reward percentage split refers to the allocation of rewards between the steward and the owner. All mAXS earned from Homeland will be divided and sent to the individual lockboxes of both the steward and the owner in-game.
There are three types of Termination Rules to be aware of before accepting a contract:
- Owner: Only the owner of the land plot has the authority to terminate the contract.
- Steward: Only the steward can terminate the contract.
- Owner & Steward: Termination of the contract requires approval from both the owner and the steward.
Step 5. Apply as Steward: If you are satisfied with the contract terms and wish to become a steward for the land plot, click on the "Apply as Steward" button at the top right of the page. This action signifies your intent to take on stewardship responsibilities.
Step 6. Confirm Transaction: A confirmation prompt will appear in your Ronin wallet extension. Confirm the transaction to formally submit your stewardship application.
Your application is now pending and will be reviewed by the owner. Be patient while the owner considers your application. Please note that if you are accepted for one application, all your other applications will be cancelled.
If you change your mind or wish to withdraw your application, you can do so by clicking the "Withdraw Application" button located at the bottom of the listing page and confirming the withdrawal in your Ronin Wallet extension.
Dashboard
You can review and manage the land plots delegated to you by accessing your dashboard. Click on the "Dashboard" button at the top of your user interface to do so. The Dashboard page is split into two tabs, Steward and Owner. For Steward managing their land plots, they can do that in the Steward tab.
In the dashboard, you can check daily earnings, total earnings, active contracts, active plots, your applications, and completed contracts. You can also propose an extension or terminate the contract (depending on the termination rule) by clicking the three dots on the right side of an active contract. You can learn more about how terminating contract and proposing an extension works in the Managing Contract for Land Delegation article.
Please note that you can only be a steward for one Ronin address at a time. It is possible to have multiple land plots (under a single or multiple contracts) delegated to you, but they must all come from the same Ronin address.
