How to Delegate Land
Step 1: Start by visiting the Land Delegation Marketplace and click the Connect wallet button. Review and confirm the connection on your Ronin Wallet to connect your wallet.
Step 2: Once your wallet is connected, click the Delegate Land button at the bottom right of your screen. Click on it to begin the delegation process.
Step 3: You'll be redirected to the Land Delegation listing page. Select the plot you want to delegate on the Select land plots section, then enter the details for the contract. The fields are explained on the Contract Customization section.
NOTE: If this is the first time that you are delegating land plots through the site, you'll first need to allow the Land Delegation site to manage your land plots through an approval transaction on your wallet by clicking the Approve Land NFT button and confirming the transaction in your Ronin wallet.
Step 4: Once you are done filling up the details for the contract, carefully review all the contract details you've entered. After confirming all the details, click on Post Contract to proceed with listing the contract on the marketplace. Confirm the Signature transaction on your Ronin wallet to finalize the listing.
Your delegation contract is now visible on the delegation marketplace for potential stewards to view and consider.
Contract Customization
Basic Contract Information
These are basic delegation settings, containing all necessary information to start the delegation. If you are just looking to delegate with no advanced restrictions, you may just fill up this section and skip the Advanced Contract Option settings.
Description - You may enter a short description here for your listing. You may add descriptions of your land plots, the terms of your contract, or anything else that could help in giving the viewer a quick overview of your listing. This is limited to 20 characters and is shown on the marketplace.
Delegating Period - This is the time period that you're delegating the land plot for. The minimum is 1 day, and a maximum of 3 months.
Splitting Rewards - This is the split ratio between the owner and the steward. The mAXS rewards the steward earns will be automatically split between the owner and the steward in-game, based on the ratio set on this field.
Listing Duration - This is the time period where the land delegation contract will be available on the marketplace for. The listing will be removed from the marketplace if there is no steward applicants accepted during this period.
Advanced Contract Option
If you are looking to add specific restrictions to the contract, you may expand the advanced settings by clicking Advanced Contract Option. This opens additional fields to further customize the contract.
Restriction Level - These are restrictions to the actions the steward can do with the land plot inside the game. These have 5 levels, with further levels having more restrictions.
Restriction Level 1
- Change the Plot's name.
Restriction Level 2
- Change the Plot's name.
- Change the Plot's property.
- Destroy Structures.
Restriction Level 3

NOTE: Level 3 and level 4 restrictions currently have the same permissions. This will be changed in the future.
Restriction Level 4
At this level, these activities are forbidden:
- Change the Plot's name.
- Change the Plot's property.
- Destroy Structures.
- All activities related to Resource Transferring
- All activities related to Auction Trading.
NOTE: Level 3 and level 4 restrictions currently have the same permissions. This will be changed in the future.
Restriction Level 5
At this level, these activities are forbidden:
- Change the Plot's name.
- Change the Plot's property.

Who can terminate the contract? - This determines who has the right to terminate the contract before its expiration date. If both options are checked, both Owner and Steward have to approve the termination. You are required to choose at least one party here.
Whitelist - This option restricts the contract listing to be shown to whitelisted users only. You may use this option if you are looking to recruit a user from only a select group of players. If there's at least one address added here, only the wallet addresses added on this section would see your contract listing.
User Dashboard
You can review the status of your delegation listings, as well as manage your current delegations, on the Dashboard page.
The Dashboard page is split into two tabs, Steward and Owner. For owners/landlords managing their land plots, they can do that in the Owner tab.
On this page, you'll see the different sections for the land delegation contracts you have made.
- Active Contract - Contains all active delegations.
- Listing Contract - Contains all actively listed contracts in the marketplace.
- Completed Contract - Contains all expired/terminated delegations.
- Others - Contains closed/expired contract listings.
Managing your Land Delegation Contracts
You can manage your land delegation contracts on the Dashboard page, such as extending the contract or terminating it early. You may check our Contract Management guide for more information on how to do these actions.
How to Accept a Steward Application
Step 1: On the Owner Dashboard, go to the Listing Contract tab. You'll see which listings have applicants through the Applicants column. Click the listing you want to review the applicants for.
Step 2: Choose the steward application that you want to accept, then click the Accept button.
Step 3: Click Confirm and sign the transaction with your Ronin wallet. This will close the listing and officially start your delegation with that steward.
How to Cancel a Delegation Listing
Step 1: On the Owner Dashboard, go to the Listing Contract tab. All your active listings will be displayed here. Choose the listing that you want to cancel by clicking on the Cancel listing button for that listing.
Step 2: A confirmation pop-up with show, click Confirm to finalize the cancellation of the listing.
After the delegation period ends, owners must claim their land plots to have them returned to their inventory. However, if the delegation contract is terminated early, the land plot automatically reverts to the owner's inventory without the need for a claim.
