Here’s how you can get your hands on some precious Gold:
1. Win an Arena match.
2. Get a chance to score a Gold Chest.
3. Open the chest to find Gold inside!
Gold Chests
We have made changes to the Gold rewards for each chest and introduced a new "Common Chest" to the mix. The previous Common Chest has been upgraded to an Uncommon Chest, containing 8-16 Gold. Meanwhile, the Mystic Chest, boasting a 1% drop rate, can yield as much as 256 Gold!
At the moment Gold serves as currency for playing Cursed Coliseum (regular) and acquiring Stickers for in-game use. Additional applications for Gold may be introduced in the future, so keeping it, it's the best choice.
Important Note: The process of opening chests has been slightly modified. Only one Chest can be unlocked at a time. Once the timer for unlocking a Chest expires, the countdown for the next Chest unlock will commence.
There are five types of Gold Chests:
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Epic
- Mystic
Each one has a unique drop rate, cooldown time, gold gain, and gold factor.
Players can only have a maximum of four Gold Chests at any given time.
You’ll have to wait until your Gold Chests’ cooldown period expires before acquiring more. For example, let’s say you won four straight matches and got four common Gold Chests. That would mean you met your four-chest cap, and would not be able to earn any more Gold Chests until the cooldown period was up after you unlocked at least one of them.
The same kind of thing applies to rare, epic, and mystic Gold Chests – however, the cooldown periods will take longer.
