Axies provide access to infinite experiences in Lunacia. Like in other Axie Infinity games, you can use your personal/NFT axies to play Axie Infinity: Classic.
Axies for Axie Infinity: Classic
Even though you can use axies that you use in Origins to play Axie Classic, the meta in Classic is completely different from Origins as the card effects and mechanics are different. Axies that are good in Origins might not be as synergistic in Axie Classic. For you to be able to see your axies, click the Sync Axie button on the Axies page:
NOTE: There are no starter axies in Axie Classic, so you need to have 3 personal/NFT axies to play Axie Classic.
You can use the App.Axie Marketplace to look for axies to use in Axie Classic. You can check an axie's cards and stats by switching the game to "Axie Infinity: Classic" on the Utilities section of an axie's details page.
The App.Axie marketplace filters are optimized for Axie Infinity: Origins. For a better experience in searching for specific axies to use in Axie Classic, you may use a 3rd-party Marketplace filtering app such as Axie Legend with filters made specifically for Axie Classic.
⚠ WARNING: When using 3rd-party tools, please take extra caution and beware of scam sites. These types of sites should never ask for your secret recovery phrase/seed phrase, nor ask you to sign any type of transactions or download any files on your device.
Axie Stats
An axie has 4 stats, determined by its class and purity. Each stat determines various aspects of that axie's performance in battles.
HEALTH - Health determines the axie's HP [hit points], which is the amount of damage your axie can take before being knocked out.
SPEED - Speed determines turn order. Faster axies attack first. If two axies have the same speed, this is how attack order is determined:
High speed > Low HP > High Skill > High Morale > Low Axie ID
SKILL - Skill adds damage when an axie plays a combo [playing multiple cards in one turn]. The extra damage is calculated like this:
(Card Attack * Skill )/ 500
MORALE - Morale increases critical strike chance. It also makes entering last stand more likely and adds more last stand “ticks”.
Team Building
To start playing Axie Classic, you need to set a team of axies to use in Arena/Adventure. To create or manage your team of axies, click the Teams button.
Step 1: On the Teams page, click the New team button to create a new team.
Step 2: Click a position you want to add an axie on, then choose the axie for that spot.
Step 3: Once you have selected your first axie, you may select other empty spots to place your remaining axies.
Step 4: You can change the position of the axie by selecting the axie, then clicking the position you want to move them to.
NOTE: Positioning plays a key role in your strategy and affects the order in which your axies are targeted. You may check our Battle Mechanics guide for more information regarding this.
Step 5: Set a name for your new team, then finish by clicking on Save Team.
Axie Levels
Axie levels in Classic are used for determining the axie's strength in Adventure mode [PvE]. The higher the axie's level is, the higher its HP and stat values for its cards.
You can level up your axies by playing in Adventure mode.
NOTE: Axie level in Axie Classic is not related to Axie levels in App.Axie. Gaining EXP/Axie levels through Classic will not increase your axie's AXP/level in App.Axie.
